UNITE Clinic – Telemental Health Expansion Grant in Partnership with IHL

The UNITE (Universities Network of Integrated Telemental Expansion) Clinic was established by the congressionally directed spending project in 2023 through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA) and in partnership with the Institutes of Higher Learning (IHL). The UNITE Clinic mission is to provide high-quality, evidence-based mental health services free of charge to Mississippi public university students.

UNITE clinicians work to ensure that the patient is being treated holistically and encouraging overall personal development and growth. Our staff is experienced in treating a variety of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, and neurodevelopmental disorders. We aim to improve mental health outcomes and overall well-being for young adults across the state Mississippi.

Any Mississippi university student over the age of 18 will be eligible to access the UNITE Clinic services. Services offered include time-limited therapy support and medication management services. Eligible students must be enrolled as a full-time student in one of the following Universities: University of Mississippi, Mississippi State University, Delta State University, Jackson State University, University of Southern Mississippi, Alcorn University, Mississippi Valley State University, the Mississippi University for Women, and University of Mississippi Medical Center.
